ANTI-BULLYING
WE STAND TOGETHER AGAINST BULLYING!
At our school, we take bullying seriously and do not tolerate any form of bullying.

Each year, we make a pledge to not be bystanders to bullying and have a zero tolerance attitude towards bullying of any nature.

Bullying is repeated and intentional harm of others and can be verbal and/or physical.

We believe that everyone has the right to feel safe in our environment and that you should be able to learn and grow without fear of being hurt in any way.

Our pledge to each other is made to encourage you to play an active role in creating a safe, positive and respectful environment.

We expect you to report any incidents of bullying to a trusted adult; we want you to SPEAK UP, SPEAK OUT!
We take all reports of bullying seriously and will work to ensure that appropriate action is taken.
REACH OUT!
Talk to someone - always tell someone if you are being bullied or if you see someone being bullied.
What to do if you are being bullied:

-
Don't respond or show a reaction, bullies like to see that they can upset you.
-
Calmly and assertively tell the bully to stop or say nothing and walk away.
-
Avoid areas where there are not many others around.
-
Sit with a trusted group of friends at break and lunch times.
-
ALWAYS report bullying or behaviours that make you feel unsafe to your parents, teacher or another adult you can trust.
